Prompted by a recent exchange on the AICS on-line forum, a workshop will be held at the National Liberal Club on Thursday 13 January to discuss the alternatives to the de facto standard software provided by Microsoft. It is expected that this meeting will be of particular interest to users, and potential users, of non-Microsoft operating systems, e-mail systems, web browsers, etc, and appeal to technical members of the community providing a desk-top service for their clients as well as for themselves. There will be AICS consultants on hand to answer your technical queries.
